| How To Care Your Teeth |
|
We can preserve our beautiful smiles by regularly taking care of our teeth and gums. These should be cleaned using the proper techniques at least twice a day. Choose a toothbrush, toothpaste and floss that bear the approval of your country's Dental Association. Many parents do not understand how important tooth care is for small children, especially infants and toddlers. The truth is that breast milk and formula both contain natural sugars that can attack the enamel on your child's teeth. In actuality it is not age that cause’s tooth decay, but neglect. It is a certain guarantee that adults who do not care for their teeth will invariably develop dental problems. Unfortunately, there are serious issues that may arise despite your best dental hygienic efforts in your adult years and these include: cavities, gum disease, tooth misalignment, and root decay. Most people rush through their brushing as a minor inconvenience. It's understandable; we know that brushing is critical (our parents made sure we understood), but often give it little thought, even as we're doing it. But, if you brush incorrectly, you won't clean your teeth properly. Slow down and do it right.
